Where Were You?
*****************************************************

I will never forget where I was and what I was doing that day -
the moment I heard about the beginning of this nightmare.   Even though I
saw it on the television I still could hardly believe it was really happening.
For days I could do nothing more than cry,  watch the news in disbelief,
and pray for those who were working to help and  for those who had lost
a loved one.  You couldn't find an American flag in a store for weeks because
everyone was buying them up to fly on their homes, cars, office buildings -
everywhere you looked people were wearing the red, white, and blue.

The only two good things, I believe, that emerged  from this tragedy
were the  unity of the people not just in this country, but around the world,
and the awesome outreach and outcry to God.  We must never forget.
